The official Stoke City website is advertising a big promotion for Monday night’s game against Coventry City, with admission at just £5 for home fans if they buy a ticket from the Potteries shopping centre before 5pm on Sunday.
The article goes on to say that this is a ‘local promotion’ and that Coventry fans will pay standard admission prices (£19 for adults).
Although this is within Football League rules it does seem more than a little unfair that the offer has not been extended to all supporters, especially as the game is live on television.
