West Ham United, Championship promotion favourites, who visit the Ricoh on Saturday November 19 have sold their allocation of 6,200 tickets. This good financial news for Coventry City should bring the club over £150,000.00 in much needed revenue.
The other positive development was Gary McSheffrey agreeing to an extension to his contract. Manager Andy Thorn was delighted to be able to keep this experienced player but it is now that we need McSheffrey to perform at the highest level for the rest of the season.
Andy Thorn is using the International break to step up his search for a quality loan signing who will benefit the club in this difficult season. Let us hope he is successful before the visit of the Hammers.
