Coventry City did everything but score in their final home league game of the season against Leyton Orient on Saturday but ended up waving a dismal farewell to the Ricoh Arena with a 1-0 defeat.

11,234 watched the Sky Blues fail to find an answer to Cox’s 45th minute goal for the Londoners as they keep up their outside hope of a play-off place.

Boss Steven Pressley felt his side’s ‘decision making’ in the final third of the pitch cost them dearly as he suffered a first home defeat.

“I am disappointed because our home form has to be the cornerstone, the foundations of how we go about building this football club in the future,” he told the official CCFC website.

The Sky Blues end with a home record of 7 wins, 7 draws and 9 defeats with 29 goals for and 27 against. Only Scunthorpe, Hartlepool and Bury, all currently in the bottom four of the table, have fewer home wins this season.
