Coventry City return to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday afternoon for the first time since the 2-1 victory against Wycombe Wanderers that secured a place at Wembley in the Football League Trophy final.

Away matches, in between, at Oldham Athletic and AFC Wimbledon have yielded only one point in the battle against relegation and eleven points now separate City from safety.

Gillingham are looking over their shoulders at the bottom four but should be able to ensure a trouble-free end to the campaign and have drawn their last five league matches.

Stuart Beavon could be fit for the home side after training on Friday and was joined on the Ryton turf by Chris Stokes although his first-team return after a long-term injury may take a couple of further weeks.

Captain Jordan Willis is also available after suspension.

For the Gills, Chris Herd has returned to training after missing the 1-1 draw at home to Chesterfield in midweek when, like the Sky Blues, Gillingham were pegged back by a last-gasp equaliser.
