The Championship season is already over one third of the way through and Coventry City’s record to date is slightly better than at the same stage last season.

16 games have brought us 7 wins, 3 draws and 6 defeats for a total of 24 points, with 20 goals scored and 24 conceded.

At the same stage last season, City had 7 wins, 1 draw and 8 defeats for a total of 22 points with 14 goals scored and 14 conceded.

We’re entering the stage of the season however at which it all started to go wrong for Micky Adams with a run of 12 points taken from the next 12 games spelling the end for the manager.

After the international break, the Sky Blues have a run of 10 games up to FA Cup 3rd Round day and if they continue to average at least 1.5 points a game then things will look a lot rosier on the pitch than at the same stage last season.
