…Livingston defender David McNamee, linked with a move to Coventry City earlier in the week, is set to link up with the Scotland squad for the upcoming Kirin Cup tournament in Japan.

The 25-year-old’s agent Derek Rutherford has confirmed that a number of clubs are keen on the player, saying: ‘I have had a few people asking me about David’s situation and I expect there to be something just after Saturday night.

‘There are clubs interested from both Scotland and England and David would like to play in either the SPL or in the Championship.’
