According to Sunday newspaper reports, Coventry City have made an undisclosed offer to sign Marton Fulop on a permanent deal from Tottenham Hotspur.

22-year-old Fulop has made 32 appearances for the Sky Blues this season since joining on loan in October.

With first-team chances slim at White Hart Lane, Fulop has said he would like a permanent deal at the Ricoh Arena.

Meanwhile, the man who Fulop took over from, West Ham’s Stephen Bywater, is also on the move according to reports.

Bywater started the season between the posts for City before injuries at Upton Park forced his recall.

Manchester City are poised to sign him in the summer as back-up to David James.
