Having now been in the second tier of English football since the start of the 2001/02 season, Coventry City can lay claim to being the third longest serving club at this level.

Only Burnley and Preston have been in the Championship for longer and unlike Preston, the Sky Blues haven’t bothered their fans with any unneccesary expense such as trips to the play-off final.

Having previously been in the top-flight for well over 30 years, City look well on their way to another lengthy stay!
