Coventry City’s month begins with the FA Cup Second Round tie against Boreham Wood this Sunday and any replay will be sandwiched between the away trip to Morecambe and the visit of Cheltenham Town to the Ricoh Arena.

The Christmas calendar begins on the evening of Friday 22 December when the Sky Blues take on Wycombe Wanderers at home, followed by trips to Port Vale on Boxing Day and Carlisle United on Saturday 30th.

Four of their five opponents in the league are currently in the bottom half of the table and City will be looking to maintain their place in the play-off positions at least ahead of the opening of the transfer window in January.

That is when Mark Robins will try and bring in the players he feels will compensate as much as possible for the loss of Jodi Jones and also boost his side`s goals output.

Robins has kept his powder dry in the loan market, Duckens Nazon being the only such deal he has done to date, and that should give him leeway to strengthen even if permanent moves are hard to finalise.
