Steven Pressley arrived at Coventry City with a reputation for developing talent but whoever took on the task of succeeding Mark Robins would have had to include plenty of youngsters in his squad for the coming season.

The club’s current situation, with no ground, administration and a transfer embargo, means there are no alternatives to having the kids involved as a key part of the first team squad.

Pressley has highlighted Leon Lobjoit and Ryan Haynes as the two most likely at this stage to make a real impact.

‘I’m very excited by them because young players who come through your system provide energy and pride for the football club, and we have some exciting players,’ he told the Coventry Telegraph.
