Despite getting his side to play some attractive football, results remained mixed for Chris Coleman and the Sky Blues in April, leaving them in the thick of the relegation battle in the Championship.

That left City with just one game to play, away at Charlton Athletic and what should have been a fairly stress-free Sunday…
