Coventry City director Onye Igwe, who is SISU Capital Private Equity representative on the board has sent an open letter to all supporters of the Sky Blues via the official club website, ccfc.co.uk.

He makes a number of positive points about the running of the club and where they hope to take it and realises that communication has been poor to to non existent and that they intend to rectify that serious shortcoming.

On a positive theme it was good to see that the club resisted the temptation to cash in on Sammy Clingan and Lukas Jutkiewicz and you can only guess that the Ben Turner sale was used to bring in Cody McDonald and have some cash left over.

The support and passion for Coventry City remains strong in the City and surrounding areas and will respond to being kept informed of club developments. The prospect held out by Onye Igwe of quality loan signings coming to the Ricoh in the coming weeks also gives us all grounds for optimism.
