Micky Adams has confirmed that Richard Shaw will play some part in Sunday’s game against Cardiff City, but that no new deal will be offered to the 37-year-old who is out of contract in the summer.
‘I am mindful of the fact that Richard Shaw will be involved in a Coventry City shirt for the last time, so he will play some part of the game,’ said Adams.
‘That is not being sentimental, that is just paying him the respect that someone who has been 10 years at the club deserves.’
If he does appear against the Bluebirds, Shaw will be making his 362nd appearance for the Sky Blues.
