Saturday’s big League One clash at Glanford Park saw Coventry City begin their last roll of the dice for a play-off place, the trip to Scunthorpe the first of four consecutive games against teams struggling at the foot of the table and the first game since the appointment of Steven Pressley as manager.

The three points ensure that the season will not yet drift to a tame conclusion as City are now five points off the play-offs with a trio of games to come against teams struggling alongside Scunthorpe.
