Coventry City’s limp over the line of the Championship season ends at Ipswich next Sunday where they will face a home side suddenly in buoyant mood after the appointment of Roy Keane and a 3-0 win at play-off contenders Cardiff City in the Irish legend’s first game in charge.

Keane will not be introduced to the Portman Road faithful ahead of the Sky Blues game and will have a team on the pitch desperate to impress.

‘I have had a good feeling in the short time I have been at Ipswich as the players have responded and we want to finish the season on a high and not just go through the motions,’ he said after the success at Ninian Park.
