Bristol City have accepted a bid from an unnamed club, thought to be Coventry City, for Scottish winger Michael McIndoe.

The 29-year-old came close to joining Sheffield United earlier in the summer and would add some much-needed width to the Sky Blues squad, although his signing would be a departure from the policy of recruiting younger players whose value would increase over time.

McIndoe would certainly seem to like the Ricoh Arena already, scoring there for Bristol City in each of the last two seasons!
