Coventry City are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Coventry City in the three nil victory over Luton Town at the weekend at Kenilworth Road was enough to earn them a place as manager of the side of the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Robins was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Robins watched his Coventry City players come away with a 3-0 victory against Luton Town, who began the day at the top of the Sky Bet League Two standings. Marc McNulty, Jordan Shipley and Duckens Nazon fired the Sky Blues to all three points in a fantastic triumph at Kenilworth Road.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Robins for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.

Full Team:

Colin Doyle (Bradford City), Matty Taylor (Swindon Town), Joel Lynch (Queens Park Rangers), John White (Southend United), Josh Morris (Scunthorpe United), Kieran Dowell (Nottingham Forest), Jorge Grant (Notts County), Mark Duffy (Sheffield United), Sam Surridge (Yeovil Town), Mikael Mandron (Colchester United), Josh Parker (Gillingham).

Manager – Mark Robins (Coventry City).
