With the threat of eviction from their Ricoh Arena home still in the air, Vital Coventry is taking a look back at some of the best performances from the Sky Blues during their time in CV6.

In 2005/06, City’s first season in the stadium there are actually plenty of decent games to look back on as the Sky Blues, under Micky Adams, won more than half of their league fixtures.

The first game at the arena was a more than satisfactory 3-0 success against QPR but it was in the new year that the unfamiliar surroundings began to feel more like home.

Nearly 27,000 watched a win against Wolves (who have suffered more than most at the Ricoh), Dennis Wise inspired a 6-1 hammering of Derby and the atmosphere at the stadium was seen to it’s full potential in the FA Cup draw against Premier League side Middlesbrough.

Vote for what you think was the best game at the Ricoh in the Vital Coventry Poll currently running on the site.
