Alex McLeish will however be looking for some his fringe players to make an impact and saw a much-changed side ease past Millwall in Round 3.
Boothroyd’s boys follow that up by facing two of the Championship’s form teams in the space of five days. Nottingham Forest’s season has been slowly gathering pace in recent weeks and sparked into life with a home hammering of local rivals Derby County over Christmas.
Leeds United meanwhile are looking good to make it two promotions in successive seasons and have proved pretty formidable at Elland Road over the course of the current campaign.
