Coventry City manager Steven Pressley, against the backdrop of Monday’s judgement against the club’s owners, is battling on in his bid to strengthen his squad for the 2014/15 season.

While SISU have indicated their intention to appeal against the decision, Pressley is aiming to sign ten new players and believes he is very close to landing a new winger to kick off his recruitment.

‘We’re currently in talks with three wide players because it’s an area we have to strengthen, certainly with the loss of Franck Moussa,’ the Scot told the Coventry Telegraph.

‘We didn’t have an abundance of back-up last season so I would like to bring in three wide players over the course of the summer and we’re quite far down the line with all three we`ve targeted at this moment in time.’

***Update*** Before the signings comes a departure and a surprising one with Blair Adams reaching agreement with the club to terminate his contract.

Speaking to the official website Pressley explained: ‘I feel that some tactical adjustments will limit his first team opportunities.’
