Blackpool visit the Ricoh Arena on Saturday with three new loan signings itching to make their debuts and more to follow.

Caretaker managers Tony Parkes and Steve Thompson reacted to the loss of a host of loan players by snapping up DJ Campbell, Roy O’Donovan and Graeme Owens last week, prior to the postponed game against Birmingham City.

‘We have more irons in the fire and hopefully we might have a few more in before the Coventry game,’ Thompson told The Gazette.

‘I think certain positions we can still strengthen.

‘We’ve had a chat with the chairman. He has been fine about bringing players in.

‘We’ve identified our targets and we are waiting to hear in the next couple of days with certain players what’s going to happen.’
