Crawley Town will host Coventry City on the opening day of the 2013/14 League One and the Sussex club are looking to build on a solid first season in the third tier of English football.

New signing Andy Drury signed a two-year deal this week and told BBC Sussex: ‘It proved last year that smaller clubs can go up.

‘Crawley aren’t as big as clubs like Wolves and Bristol City but if you can get a winning mentality going then you never know what can happen.

‘If we get a few wins under our belts it does give the squad confidence to push on and then hopefully we can be up and around the top six all season.’

The Sky Blues first ‘home’ game is against Bristol City with the relegated side looking to bounce straight back to the Championship.

Boss Sean O’Driscoll continued his rebuilding on Wednesday with the signing of 25-year-old goalkeeper Frank Fielding from Derby County.
