One of Micky Adams’ final acts as Coventry City manager was to secure the signing of striker Michael Mifsud from Norwegian side Lillestrom on 12 January 2007.
By the time the Maltese international had found his feet in English football Adams was gone but some sparkling displays (notably against Wolves at home) and Mifsud’s energetic style and 100% commitment soon endeared him to the home fans.
