Stoke City manager Tony Pulis felt referee Andre Marriner got the key decisions wrong as his were beaten 3-1 by Coventry at the weekend.
He said: ‘I’m not blaming the referee but I thought there were three big decisions that should have gone for us.
‘In the build-up to their first goal there was a foul. And we should also have had a penalty.
‘I’ve never conceded seven goals in two games before – we’re not strong enough in front of the back four.’
