Norwich City have rejected two bids from Coventry City in the past week for striker Leon McKenzie, who had a transfer request rejected on Monday.

The 28-year-old, scorer of 21 goals in 79 games for the Canaries wants more first-team action but boss Nigel Worthington said both bids fell a “long way short of (Norwich) City’s valuation.”

Maltese international Michael Mifsud, currently playing for Lillestrom of Norway is also a target according to his agent.
