Coventry City have little time to rest on the laurels of their 2-0 victory against Exeter City on Saturday, a win that knocked the Grecians off the top spot in League Two and ended their unbeaten start to the season.

The Sky Blues make the journey to Swindon Town on Tuesday evening to face a side in equally high spirits, and a play-off place, after their triumph by a similar scoreline at Forest Green Rovers on Friday night.

That gives the Wiltshire men slightly longer to prepare for the visit of Mark Robins’ team but Swindon’s scout amongst the Ricoh Arena crowd on Saturday will be writing a positive report of City’s qualities.

They were good value for the three points against Exeter, as acknowledged by visiting boss Paul Tisdale afterwards, even if it came from the unlikely source on own goal followed by a first senior strike for Devon Kelly-Evans.
