It’s back to the Ricoh Arena for Coventry City after two positive results on the road, to face a Swansea City side in transition after the loss of manager Roberto Martinez in the summer.

Recent record: Last season saw the first meetings between the sides for over 25 years, with both games ending in draws.

Talking point: Can the suave Paulo Sousa take the Swans any further after their impressive progress under Martinez?

What they’re saying: Ahead of the game against his hometown club, Chris Coleman told BBC Sport Wales: ‘I’m very proud of being from Swansea.

‘But my mum and dad still live in Swansea. My sisters, both married with children, still live in Swansea.

‘And I’ve seen, when it goes wrong when you’re a manager it’s your home town club and that’s where your family’s from; it’s not nice and I wouldn’t put my family underneath that pressure.’

Next up: A League Cup tie with Scunthorpe followed by Watford at home for the Swans, a Bank Holiday weekend trip to Blackpool for the Sky Blues.
