Coventry City look to arrest a (relative) slump in form when they travel to Merseyside on Saturday afternoon to face a Tranmere side who produced one of the surprise results of the season when they won 5-1 at Sixfields earlier in the campaign.
Manager Steven Pressley has a number of selection issues, which he hopes will clear up after this weekend, with Chuba Akpom having been recalled by Arsenal temporarily, Nathan Delfouneso a ‘major doubt’ and Callum Wilson not quite ready for his return.
Mark Marshall and Blair Adams are back in the Sky Blues squad but Pressley will make a late check on goalkeeper Joe Murphy who has been suffering from illness. Lee Burge is on standby.
