Coventry City frontman Andy Morrell is set to leave the Ricoh Arena this summer and remain in the Championship according to his agent.
Lee Payne told the Express & Star that the 31-year-old was unlikely to drop down to League Two to join Walsall, while Championship new-boys Southend United are too far away from Morrell’s Leicestershire base.
‘There are a couple of Championship clubs and a couple from League One who are interested,’ he added.
‘I would like him to go to a Championship club but it will depend a lot on location, so we’ll just see what develops.’
