Sheffield United are being tipped to try and sign Michael Mifsud from Coventry City when the loan window opens next week.
The Maltese star came close to joining Bristol City in the summer before the deal fell through.
He has since forced his way back into the Sky Blues side but in a right-wing position rather than his favoured central role.
