A must-win game for both sides as the Sky Blues take on Luton Town on Tuesday night.

Adrian Heath has had over a week to get his way of doing things across to the City squad while Luton come into the game still smarting from a 4-0 home defeat by Blackburn in the FA Cup.

Vital Quotes:

Luton boss Mike Newell on being linked with the Coventry job: ‘I’m not linking my name to other clubs, I can’t do anything about that.

‘When the time is right, if it’s ever right, and if somebody wants me in the future they would hopefully want me and not want me as part of a shortlist of four or five.

‘If they want me they’ll come for me and I won’t just be linked to them, if you know what I mean.’

Coventry City Team News:

Robert Page and Michael Doyle have been left out of the squad after their training ground bust-up and face disciplinary action.

Michael Mifsud should start for the first time after an impressive cameo against Plymouth and with Stern John having left for Sunderland while there could also be a debut for Irish defender Colin Hawkins after he signed an 18-month deal at the Ricoh Arena.

‘It’s very exciting to be here again, it’s a great opportunity for me,’ said Hawkins, who was on City’s books as a youngster.

‘It’s a huge challenge.

‘I know the team has experienced a few defeats lately but having seen the quality of the squad I know it will take just one win to change things.’

Matthew Spring could make his second debut for the club however after re-joining from Watford last week.
