Onloan Portsmouth defender Richard Duffy is still in the dark over what will happen when his spell at Coventry ends.

He is a season long loan and has been in such impressive form that he has broken into the full Welsh squad during his time at the club, gaining five caps.

‘Perhaps Portsmouth are keeping tabs on me, but I haven’t heard anything from them. I’m on loan at Coventry this season, but I’d like to think I would be ready to play in the Premiership next season.

‘Since Harry Redknapp signed me for Portsmouth, two new managers have come in and that hasn’t really helped my situation. But you always get managerial changes at clubs so you’ve just got to do your best to adapt whenever a new manager does come in.

‘I’ve had five Wales caps now and I’m playing regularly for Coventry so that’s all I can do. Portsmouth haven’t been in touch, so I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what happens at the end of the season.’
