Coventry City will be at home again in the FA Cup Second Round after being drawn against the winners of the Rochdale versus Morecambe tie.

The League Two sides drew 1-1 on Saturday after which Morecambe manager Jim Bentley said: ‘I think we’re quite lucky to still be in it. We didn’t do enough to win the game. At certain stages, they looked like they wanted it a little bit more than us.’

Second-round ties will be played on the weekend of 1 and 2 December, while teams from the Premier League and Championship enter the competition in the third round.

Other Sky Blue interest in the draw sees Micky Adams’ Port Vale side paired with his former club Sheffield United while Nuneaton Town, who drew with Luton on Saturday with Kevin Malaga and David McNamee in their side, will be at home to either Dorchester or Plymouth Argyle if they win the replay.
