Exeter City and Stevenage are making the early pace in League Two, holding the only unbeaten records in the division to date.

The Grecians have continued their progress from last season when they reached the play-off final and the long-serving tenure of manager Paul Tisdale looks set to continue with a new contract offer reportedly in place for the man who has been in charge since June 2006 at St James’ Park.

Along with Stevenage, they head what looks set to be a wide-open scrap for promotion this season with the likes of Mansfield and Luton tipped to gather pace now that the transfer window has closed.

Notts County have also recovered well from their opening day defeat at the Ricoh Arena to take 10 points from their next four matches and manager Kevin Nolan looks to slowly be building a competitive squad at Meadow Lane.

The bookmakers make Luton the clear favourites to top the table come the end of the season.
