While bottom club Coventry City face a tough test at home to Millwall on Saturday afternoon, four of the five clubs immediately above the Sky Blues in the League One table meet each other this weekend.

Oldham Athletic, currently four points ahead of City, travel to face a Chesterfield side who are one place and one point better off.

John Sheridan is back in charge of the Latics and will face another of his former clubs with the Spireites themselves under new management in the shape of Gary Caldwell.

Both bosses were busy in the final few days of the transfer window and will be keen to kickstart their seasons by taking three points on Saturday.

The same applies to Shrewsbury and Bury who meet in Shropshire on Saturday afternoon.

Bury currently occupy the final relegation place but can leapfrog their hosts with a victory but face a Shrews side who are unbeaten in four matches and who have ground out two single-goal victories in their last two home games.

Swindon Town are the other club in the bottom six at present and could be in the relegation zone by the time they meet local rivals Oxford United on Sunday lunchtime.

City Team News: City’s only transfer deadline signing, Watford forward Michael Folivi, will miss out on a Sky Blues debut when Millwall come to the Ricoh Arena for a League One fixture on Saturday afternoon.

A minor ankle injury rules out the Hornets loanee while manager Russell Slade is also without suspended captain Jordan Willis after his red card against Northampton Town last weekend and the subsequent failure of an appeal against the dismissal.

With the departure of trialist midfielder Dean Hammond, Slade will begin to run the rule over another player on Monday as he continues the search for new faces to assist in City`s relegation battle.
