Coventry City star Jay Tabb was the top-scoring midfielder in this week`s Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Coca-Cola Championship.

Tabb earned 44 points for his performances against Norwich City (32 points) and QPR (12), netting in the 1-0 defeat of the Canaries to help him climb into the Actim Index top 100.

It also saw Tabb close in on Michael Mifsud, who is the top-ranked Coventry player so far this season, the Malta international a point ahead of his teammate with 333.

Michael Doyle is only a point further adrift of Tabb as the Sky Blues look for a strong finish to the campaign.

Analysis of all Championship games is taking place throughout the season and so far the top five Coventry players are:

The Actim Index is calculated using a unique mathematical formula that rates each player`s contribution be it goals, shots, passes, dribbles, tackles, crosses, saves, clearances, blocks, interceptions, assists, clean sheets, time on the pitch or number of points gained by the team with marks deducted for red and yellow cards.
