29-year-old defender Colin Hawkins is reportedly training with Coventry City ahead of a possible move to the Ricoh Arena.
The defender was on City’s books as a youngster before being released by Gordon Strachan.
He has since played for St Patrick`s Athletic, Doncaster Rovers, Bohemians and Shelbourne and won four Irish League winner’s medals.
A financial crisis at current champions Shelbourne however is set to lead to the departure of a number of their top players.
