Ipswich reaction

After a difficult week off the field, Ipswich manager Jim Magilton felt his side’s display at Coventry showed they are still behind their boss.

‘To come back from 2-1 down speaks volumes of the character in the side,’ he said.

‘I can say we’ve had inconsistent performances.

‘I think when we are good, we’re a match for any team in this division.

‘We’re trying day in, day out to get consistency in our play.

‘I’ve got an honest bunch of lads who are terrific to work with and we’ll continue to work extremely hard.’
