Hull refreshed for City clash

Hull City are hoping that a winter break in Dubai will set them up for a win over Coventry City on Tuesday and a promotion push in the Championship.

‘The weather and the facilities have meant we’ve been able to have training sessions two or three times a day and that’s great for me to have the players 24 hours around the clock,’ boss Phil Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.

‘We’ve got everyone away from the humdrum of every day training and that’s important.

‘It’s nice for the players to get a bit of sun on their backs and stay fresh for what will be a 19-game mini-series when we get back.’
