Hull City boss Phil Brown felt Caleb Folan’s late goal was the only moment of quality in a ‘terrible game’ at the KC Stadium on Tuesday night.

Opposite number Iain Dowie commented: ‘We nullified them and prevented them from having a shot on target.

‘I can’t ask any more from them, but Hull have won it with a long ball at the end.’
