Coventry City make a rare trip to Bootham Crescent on Tuesday night for a Johnstone’s Paint Trophy tie against York City of League Two.

The ground was the venue for Keith Houchen’s second-most famous piece of FA Cup heroics when he netted a last-gasp penalty for the Minstermen against Arsenal in 1985.

And the Sky Blues legend, who watches York on a regular basis, feels the home side can cause an upset in midweek.

Speaking to The Press, local newspaper of the famous city, he said: ‘York have got a bit of momentum and I really enjoyed the way they played last season.

‘They’ve made a big step up and will have to accept losing some matches this season because it’s a learning curve but I think York will fancy the match more than Coventry.’
