Good away start

2 good goals from Leon Best after 8 minutes and an 80th minute tap in from Clinton Morrison gave City a good start away from the Ricoh.

With Martin Crainie settling well at central defence the side had a good shape and width which was missing from much of last season and the commitment was terrific.

A thank you also to Barnsley for providing pleasant stewards and an uncomplicated ticket system–buy at the turnstile and sit where you want. It was a good day so let us hope it can be carried on at Doncaster on Tuesday.
