Micky Adams is one of the favourites to succeed Ronnie Jepson as manager of Gillingham according to reports on Wednesday.

The 45-year-old left the Ricoh Arena earlier this year and is currently number two at Colchester United.

A move to Priestfield would see his career coming full circle.

Adams started his playing career with the Kent club before joining the Sky Blues in 1983.
