Bruno Cazarine has a few more days to earn himself a Coventry City contract after impressing Andy Thorn in training before struggling to get a foothold in Saturday’s friendly defeat at the hands of Nuneaton.

The Brazilian striker would be swapping one set of Sky Blues for another should he make a move to the Ricoh Arena after a two-year spell playing in Australia’s A-League with Sydney FC.

Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald after signing a contract in September 2010 he said: ‘I’m a tall, strong player. I can play near the box, to receive crosses, as I am good with my head. I need the players near me to play together with me.’

City would be the 14th club of a nomadic career for Cazarine who has also played in China, South Korea and his native Brazil among other countries.
