Leicester City manager Rob Kelly is hopeful that Gareth McAuley, Stephen Hughes and Iain Hume will play a part in Saturday’s game against Coventry City at the Walkers Stadium.

He told his club’s website earlier in the week: ‘Gareth McAuley is still struggling a little with his calf while Stephen Hughes has got a groin and back problem.

‘But he is going to have another injection this week so we are hopeful.

‘Iain Hume has got tight hamstrings but none of those injuries are what we would call long-term.’

Danny Tiatto and Matty Fryatt are set to miss out while the Foxes have also lost skipper Paddy McCarthy, possibly for the rest of the season.
