With Sunday marking five weeks until Coventry City head to Wembley for the Football League Trophy, their final opponents will be decided this coming week.

Luton Town host Oxford United at Kenilworth Road in the second semi-final with both teams heading into the game in good form.

Oxford were 4-0 winners at Chesterfield on Saturday afternoon and lie inside the top ten in League One with games still in hand after their progress in the FA Cup.

The Hatters drew 1-1 at home to Plymouth Argyle in a clash of two promotion-chasing teams in League Two.

Whichever side wins through will be the favourites to defeat the Sky Blues, relegation certainties after the home defeat at the hands of fellow strugglers Swindon Town.

And either side would bring a following to the national stadium to compare with the 40,000 expected to be backing City which means the record attendance for a Football League Trophy final could be broken.
