Coventry City assistant manager Tim Flowers is happy at the thought of playing former club Blackburn Rovers in the 3rd Round.

‘It was the most successful period of my career. I was lucky to play with some fantastic footballers,’ he told the Sky Blues’ website.

‘Obviously it’s changed since I was there but it’s a good, solid club.’

He added: ‘We’ve drawn one of the big boys and if our players have got anything about them, which I’m sure they have, they’ll go up there and enjoy it and get stuck in.’

‘It’s a tough task but so were Manchester United and West Ham in the Carling Cup.’
