With Coventry City having failed to score in their last three League Two fixtures, manager Mark Robins turns to experienced striker Stuart Beavon for Saturday afternoon’s game at home to Colchester United at the Ricoh Arena.

Beavon returns to the starting line-up at the expense of Max Biamou after Tuesday evening’s frustrating defeat at the hands of Forest Green Rovers in CV6.

He forms part of an attacking quartet, alongside Jodi Jones, Marc McNulty and Duckens Nazon that will surely see the Sky Blues back on the scoresheet come 5pm.

Ryan Haynes makes his first start of the season, after completing his recovery from a serious ligament injury, and replaces Chris Stokes in the City side which is as follows:

Burge (GK); Grimmer, Willis, McDonald, Haynes, Kelly, Doyle (C), Jones, Nazon, McNulty, Beavon.

Subs: O’Brien (GK), Davies Shipley, Vincenti, Stevenson, Biamou, Ponticelli.
