Two sides trying to bounce back from a weekend hammering, two sides who have failed to make the expected progress in 2011 and two sides with a goalkeeping injury crisis take to the field at the Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday night.

Both Doncaster Rovers and Coventry City need points still to avoid being sucked into a relegation scrap at the foot of the table but both must do it on Tuesday without some key players.

For the Sky Blues that is likely to mean goalkeeper Keiren Westwood and will definitely mean striker Marlon King as he starts a four-match ban for his sending off against Bristol City.

Aidy Boothroyd must be tempted to make other changes as well following a first-half display against the Robins that saw the manager, perhaps for the first time in his reign, publicly criticise his players.

Ben Alnwick, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, is likely to start in goal for the home side with veteran Neil Sullivan out.

Manager Sean O’Driscoll well remembers that his side dominated the reverse fixture at the Ricoh Arena before falling to Gary McSheffrey’s late winner. He told his official club website: ‘We were disappointed to come away with nothing.’
