As at 4pm on transfer deadline day there had been no reported movement either in or out of the Ricoh Arena.

Speculation has seen the likes of Sammy Clingan, Richard Keogh, Roy O’Donovan and Freddy Eastwood linked with moves away while Andy Thorn, who would happy to lose the latter two but not the former, is still hopeful of signing a striker.

Eastwood has been mentioned as a target for Chesterfield but our Spireites colleagues at Vital Football are reporting that John Sheridan has now completed a deal for Peterborough’s Nicky Ajose.

Clingan is reportedly wanted by Middlesbrough while Hibs are monitoring O’Donovan.

***Update at 8pm***

O’Donovan’s move to Hibs is being reported by the Coventry Telegraph as going ahead while Thorn has named an unchanged side for the game at Blackpool, meaning rumoured targets for other clubs such as Keogh, Cranie and Clingan are all in action for the Sky Blues as the window prepares to close.
